Jennifer Lawrence: ‘American Hustle’ SAG Foundation Q&A

Jennifer Lawrence is all smiles at the SAG Foundation’s American Hustle Q&A event on Saturday night (January 11) in Westwood, Calif. The 23-year-old actress was joined by her co-stars Bradley Cooper and Amy Adams, as well as director David O. Russell.

Jennifer is nominated for tonight’s 2014 Golden Globe Awards in the Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role in a Motion Picture category for her role in American Hustle. Make sure to watch the live show TONIGHT at 8/7c on NBC to see if she takes home a statue!

“American Hustle” Stars Attend The Academy’s Official Screening

Taking time to share details about their new movie, the cast of “American Hustle” attended the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences Official Screening in New York City on Saturday (December 7).

Sitting down with director David O. Russell were Bradley Cooper, Jeremy Renner, Jennifer Lawrence, Christian Bale, and Amy Adams.

In the crime drama set in the ’70s, a con man and his lovely British partner work for a wild FBI agent who pushes them into the New Jersey underworld.

Already causing a lot of buzz, “American Hustle” hits theaters on December 20th.

Palm Springs Film Festival Best Ensemble

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the cast of American Hustle will be presented the award for “Best Ensemble” at the Palm Springs Film Festival. Take a look at the press release below:

The star-studded cast of David O. Russell’s dramedy American Hustle — which includes Oscar winners Christian Bale and Jennifer Lawrence and Oscar nominees Amy Adams, Bradley Cooper and Jeremy Renner — will receive the Ensemble Performance Award at the Palm Springs International Film Festival, it was announced Friday.

The award will be presented on Jan. 4 at the Palm Springs Convention Center as part of the festival’s 25th edition, which runs from Jan. 3-13.

“Russell has created a viscerally powerful film,” said festival chairman Harold Matzner. “American Hustle grabs you from the start and is populated by a group of eminently believable characters as brought to life by this brilliant cast. The Palm Springs International Film Festival is proud to present the entire cast of American Hustle with our 2014 Ensemble Performance Award.”
